www.jmlivefishandaquariacouriers.co.uk/
Welcome to our site. We are Julia & Mike aka, JM Livefish & Aquaria Couriers Ltd, (JM Couriers for short!) a small family run business, that we decided to start because of an operation that ended Mikes career as a farmer. At 51, he had to have a career change and decided to turn a hobby breeding Discus, into an Aquaria Courier business, because he knew that he wouldnt want to send his prized Discus breeding pairs (or anything living) via normal postal outlets. We know that most Hobbyists prefer collection only but in some cases people miss out on great tropical fish deals, proven breeding pairs of Discus, or expensive Koi purely because the fish are too far away, too expensive to risk sending, or the tank too big, to fit in the boot of a car. We have a LWB van that will fit 8ft tanks & cabinets easily. A Berlingo Multispace for the smaller deliveries and we will soon have a medium sized van for the inbetweenies! So, all needs and eventualities catered for but still retaining the personal touch. Most collections are delivered sameday or as early as possible the next day. The boxes (with live goods) are literally picked up at one address and delivered to the next, with no swapping and changing of vans in between. We are used to early starts and late finishes and we do early mornings, late evenings or weekend deliveries, to suit your lifestyle. Our aim is to become the best at what we do, collecting & delivering your live goods, live fish, and associated aquatic items. We have a DEFRA Type 2 licence to carry live fish, reptiles, terrapins tortoises, snakes (not Mikes favourites) and spiders (definately not mine!) We also carry pigeons (and YB's) whether lost, found or going to stud. We are insured for carrying live goods and transporting glass items while in transit and into your home. So, for a more personal touch we can help place a tank in situ, rather than just leaving it at your door. Whether you are in wholesale, retail, a hobbyist breeder, or a pigeon fancier, we will endeavour to keep all of our customers happy and satisfied, with a professional, friendly, affordable, more personal service. Please take a look on the news and events section, where i have a daily/weekly schedule of delivery areas. It helps us to help you, if we can coordinate deliveries to certain areas on certain days. You might have to wait a day or two until we are in your area but for a specialized, service with a friendly smile, we will always try our best to accomodate your wishes. Enquiries always welcome, including weekends. Please use the email or telephone option, in the contact us section.

Welcome to the newly launched West Midlands Reptile Society (WMRS) website. Formed by a few enthusiastic reptile keepers who wanted to meet people with similar interests. We are proud to announce that our first event will be the West Midland Reptile Expo, which has been set for 9th August 2009 at the Kidderminster Glades arena, Kidderminster, Worcestershire. We are hoping the show will attract many members of the public; reptile owners, hobbyists, breeders and anyone with an interest for reptiles.

www.elitereptiles.co.uk/
A spacious, clean shop which has a variety of snakes, lizards, torts, spiders, inverts and amphibs available. Constantly bringing new stock into the shop, a lot of which isnt seen in most rep shops. Definately worth a visit, even just for a cuddle with the pet skunk, pet toad or pet sulcata tort! The set ups are really well planned and put together, all heating is appropriate for the animal and all guarded and statted. There is always a wide selection of live and frozen food at very good prices (20% off at the moment and its the cheapest in the area anyway!) They also do delivery and bulk orders on food. Ran by wonderful people who are approachable, polite and friendly. they provide a step by step guide to owning a rep, let you handle all the animals and will also talk new owners through care and give them care sheets. There is no pressure to buy and theres loads of shop space to view the livestock, food items and dry goods for sale.

www.specialgeckos.webs.com/
Special Geckos is a site dedicated to helping people cope with all reptiles that have special needs, or helping them find a home with someone who can! We have re-homers up and down the country, from South England to North Scotland Reptiles can suffer from a number of deformities and disabilities, the most common being related to MBD or Birth Defects, woth blindness coming in close second. Most reptiles when diagnosed with one of these conditions are euthanased or "Put to sleep" but the men and women of Special Geckos, and all their reptiles, are living proof that disability doesn't have to be the end for most animals! People are free to post comments and questions throughout the site, and anyone wanting specific advice is free to ask for it!
